About the Program
With the saxophone at the forefront, this month’s concert promises to be a celebration of the instrument's versatility and expressive power. Now in its fourth year, this popular concert features tenor saxophonist Danny Walsh and pianist Emiko Ohara-Walsh, joining the Ziad Jazz Quartet, led by Ziad Rabie, for a dynamic and soulful evening.
Walsh, regarded as one of the most gifted and versatile recording artists in the jazz and R&B circuits, has performed with icons such as Greg Allman, Aerosmith, and toured with guitar legend Mike Stern. From smooth, sultry melodies to high-energy improvisations, this performance will showcase the saxophone in all its glory.
