FOMO: Museum Block Party is a free public activation across two Uptown Charlotte museums — The Mint Museum and the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art — in partnership with the Charlotte International Arts Festival (CIAF). This takeover of the Levine Avenue of the Arts coincides with free admission to all Uptown museums, also known as Wednesday Night Live, bringing DJs, live music and performances powered by Sonorous Wave, cash bars, interactive art, photo opportunities, creative collaborations, and more to Charlotte’s diverse and creative communities.
 

FOMO ITINERARY:

Levine Avenue of the Arts / Wells Fargo Plaza (5–10 PM)

• 5–6 PM – DJ Yung Prophet (Backspinz)

  • The Ripple Effect Young Professionals Mixer

• 6–7 PM – Black as a Cosmos

  • Silent Disco DJ Kike Naranjo

  • Yearbook Photo Booth 

• 7–8 PM – Banks

• 8–10 PM – King Iven accompanied by live musicians Shane Wheeler, Harvey Cummings, Dante Fowler, Walter Boston and JB​
   

 Bechtler Museum of Modern Art

• 5 PM–9 PM: Free Admission to all galleries

• 5:30–8:30 PM (Lobby): DJ Niyah Whya

• 5:30–8:30 PM (Plaza): Polaroid Photo & Decoration Bar

  • Led by craft company La Bodeguita, this collaborative workshop between photographer Krishanni Smith and Michelle Fernandez invites participants to have their photo taken with the iconic terracotta as a backdrop. Guests will then personalize their polaroids at the craft buffet.
