Through our innovative education and outreach programs, we are breaking down barriers and making modern and contemporary art accessible to all.

 

Since 2022, we have reimagined our exhibition and educational programs. Our bold plans for 2025 will see us reaching more youth and adults through our educational, community, and outreach programs than in any of the past ten years.

 

But we need your help to make it a reality.

 

Every year, we touch thousands of lives through:

  • Free tours that bring art alive for Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools students, connecting art to STEM education while developing critical thinking skills

  • Wednesday Night Live, our signature free programming that welcomed over 10,000 visitors, creating a weekly celebration of creativity and community

  • New early childhood outreach programs that provide much needed exposure to creativity at an early age.

  • Seasonal Family Days that reach over 2,000 annually with hands-on experiences that spark imagination, foster cultural understanding, and bring families closer.
