CHARLOTTE ART ON PRESCRIPTION: FIND COMMUNITY AND CONNECTION
If you are experiencing loneliness and seeking new ways to connect with the Charlotte community, you may be eligible to join Charlotte Art on Prescription. This program invites participants to explore how the arts can combat loneliness through museum programs, live performances, and art-making classes.
To qualify, a person must be recommended by a Novant health care professional. A participant will be required to attend an introductory meeting at the Bechtler Museum of Art upon their acceptance into the program and agree to respond to periodic surveys to measure the effectiveness of the program. In return, a person will receive one year of free access to arts programming from various arts organizations in Charlotte and opportunities to connect with others in the program at programmatic and social meet-ups.
