About the Program
You’re invited to celebrate the opening of Making an Impression: Pioneering Latin American Printmakers. Featuring works by Rufino Tamayo, Jesús Rafael Soto, Regina Silveira, and Analia Saban, the exhibition explores how four generations of artists have pushed printmaking beyond the flat page through texture, spatial illusion, and material experimentation.
6 PM: CURATOR CONVERSATION
Artist Regina Silveira and Shaye Remba, Director of Mixografía, join Bechtler Curator Dr. Katia Zavistovski in conversation to discuss the artists, ideas, and innovations that shaped the exhibition.
Public Program • Free Admission
7 PM: OPENING RECEPTION
Stay after the talk for a casual reception with a cash bar. The galleries will remain open, so you can continue exploring the exhibition and spend more time with the artworks at your own pace.
