About the Program
Discover the magic where art, music, and dance meet! Inspired by the luminous work of Marc Chagall, including his iconic America Windows, join Bechtler Curator Dr. Katia Zavistovski, Charlotte Ballet Artistic Director Alejandro Cerrudo, and Charlotte Symphony Orchestra President and CEO David Fisk for a dynamic conversation, moderated by Kimberly Pereira, Director of Education & Community Engagement at the Charlotte Ballet. Together, they’ll explore selections of Chagall’s work in the Bechtler collection and share insights into the ballet One Thousand Pieces—Cerrudo’s mesmerizing dance set to the music of Philip Glass and inspired by the visions of Marc Chagall’s America Windows.
