This annual concert honors the legacy of Bessie and Hans Bechtler, parents of Bechtler Museum of Modern Art founder Andreas Bechtler, as dedicated patrons of both the visual arts and music. Celebrating their passion for the arts, the Bechtler Ensemble—under the direction of their granddaughter Tanja Bechtler—will present a program featuring beloved works for soprano, piano, violin, and cello. The program includes pieces by Franz Schubert, Amy Beach, Sergei Taneyev’s Piano Trio, Op. 32, and Alexander Borodin’s Piano Trio in D Major.

Enjoy two concerts for the price of one! Your ticket also includes a dynamic performance by the JBT Quartet performing from 5 PM to 5:45 PM. These talented young musicians explore the boundaries of contemporary jazz, and your attendance helps support the next generation of local artists. They'll kick off the evening with a vibrant, soulful set before the Bechtler Ensemble takes the stage at 6 PM.
TICKETS: Concert tickets are $25 for members, $30 for nonmembers, and $5 for students (with proof of ID). FREE tickets for ages 10 and under. Advance registration is required to guarantee seating.
