About the Program

Kick off the Music and Museum season with an expressive evening of piano trios by Enrique Granados, Paul Juon, Fritz Kreisler, Antonín Dvořák, and Johannes Brahms. Performed by Emily Urbanek (piano), Tatiana Karpova (violin), and Tanja Bechtler (cello), the program blends romantic lyricism, nostalgia for turn-of-the-century Vienna, and spirited folk dances.

Inspired by the exhibition Collection, Reframed: We Are Here, Beyond Vision, this concert explores how music, like visual and performance art, can evoke memory, place, and sensory experience beyond what we see.

To celebrate the season opening, enjoy two concerts for the price of one! Your ticket also includes a special pre-performance by the JBT Quartet from 5:00 PM to 5:45 PM, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening.

TICKETS: Concert tickets are $25 for members, $30 for nonmembers, and $5 for students (with proof of ID). FREE tickets for ages 10 and under. Advance registration is required to guarantee seating.
