About the Program
Bring the family for a special concert featuring Modest Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition," an engaging performance that has enchanted audiences of all ages with its vivid musical storytelling and imaginative orchestration for many generations. Inspired by a 1874 exhibition of Viktor Hartmann's artworks at the Academy of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg, Mussorgsky composed this piano suite to evoke the experience of walking through the gallery and viewing the paintings.
TICKETS: Concert tickets are $25 for members, $30 for nonmembers, and $5 for students (with proof of ID). FREE tickets for ages 10 and under. Advance registration is required to guarantee seating.
