About the Program
This month, pianist Martin Bejerano collaborates with the Ziad Jazz Quartet, led by Ziad Rabie (saxophone), Ron Brendle (bass), and Al Sergel (drums) in a tribute honoring the legendary American pianist, composer, and saxophonist Keith Jarrett. Known for his improvisational brilliance and deeply emotional performances, Jarrett began his career with drummer and bandleader Art Blakey before making significant contributions alongside Charles Lloyd and Miles Davis. The concert will feature Jarrett's influential compositions, interpreted through Bejerano's own expressive and interpretive mastery, capturing the essence of Jarrett's musical legacy.
