About the Program
Join us on November 17 for a captivating pre-celebration of the Bechtler Museum’s 15th anniversary, honoring museum founder Andreas Bechtler’s Swiss heritage and the iconic sculpture at the museum’s entrance, Niki de Saint Phalle’s The Firebird. This special concert features enchanting works by Swiss composers Othmar Schoeck and Alfred Felder, along with French composer Charles Koechlin and Russian composer Paul Juon. Experience Koechlin’s lively and whimsical compositions that reflect the vibrant storytelling found in Saint Phalle’s sculptures, and enjoy a contemplative solo cello piece by Felder inspired by Gregorian Choral melodies. This event is a fitting tribute to the Bechtler Museum’s 15 years of artistic excellence and its strong holdings of Swiss art. The museum will officially mark its 15-year anniversary on January 2, 2025.
TICKETS: Concert tickets are $25 for members, $30 for nonmembers, and $5 for students (with proof of ID). FREE tickets for ages 10 and under. Advance registration is required to guarantee seating.
