The evening takes inspiration from our fall exhibition, "Making an Impression: Pioneering Latin American Printmakers." As the museum’s fall fundraiser, Lúmina supports the Bechtler’s world-class exhibitions, educational programs, and community partnerships.

Curator Conversation + Celebration Friday, September 25 6 PM: Curator Conversation 7 PM: Opening Reception You’re invited to celebrate the opening of Making an Impression: Pioneering Latin American Printmakers. Featuring works by Rufino Tamayo, Jesús Rafael Soto, Regina Silveira, and Analia Saban, the exhibition explores how four generations of artists have pushed printmaking beyond the flat page through texture, spatial illusion, and material experimentation.

Artmaking Workshop with La Bodequita Wednesday, October 14 5-9 PM Get inspired and create your own work of art during this hands-on workshop led by Charlotte-based artists La Bodequita. Drawing inspiration from Making an Impression: Pioneering Latin American Printmakers, participants will explore printmaking techniques and collaborative artmaking in a welcoming, creative environment. No experience necessary.
