Join the Bechtler for an evening of fun and games celebrating artistic twosomes.

Great artists have one thing in common: inspiration. Many are influenced by the work of artists who came before them. Others become mentors. Some walk the creative path in tandem. Among the brilliant minds of mid-century modernism were partnerships both typical and unexpected such as those shared by Bechtler collection artists Ben Nicholson and Barbara Hepworth, Niki de Saint Phalle and Jean Tinguely, and Andy Warhol and Tom Wesselmann.

On February 15, 2013 from 7 to 11 p.m., the rapport, ardor, enduring partnerships and passionate affairs of modern artists will be celebrated in a gala to benefit the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art.

Guests will enjoy cocktails, live music, a silent auction, amusements and diversions. Passed hors d’oeuvres and chef-prepared small plates of artfully paired ingredients will be served throughout the museum. Bid on elegant experiential packages in a silent auction.

Tickets are $150 ($110 tax deductible) and $250 ($200 tax deductible) per person.

If purchased by January 31, tickets at the $250 level include recognition in the event program and a tour of the Bechtler with founding museum patron Andreas Bechtler. (The special one-time tour will be scheduled for spring 2013. Ticket holders will be contacted with the date and time).
