The season finale of Music and Museum features the addition of musical guest and world renowned Syrian-American composer and pianist Malek Jandali. Hailed by Fanfare Magazine as "a major new addition to the 21st century's symphonic literature," the performance opens with a world premiere commissioned piece by Queens University of Charlotte's first composer-in-residence, Malek Jandali. According to American Record Guide, Jandali's symphonic works have been described by Gramophone as "deeply enigmatic with voices and in tongues emerging from the composer's Syrian heritage that generously repay more reflective listening."

In addition, the Bechtler Ensemble will be joined by local Composer and Associate Professor of Music at Queens University of Charlotte Zach Zubow; Assistant Professor of Composition/Theory at Winthrop University, Leonard Mark Lewis; Professor of Music Composition, Music Technology, Music Theory, Area Coordinator for Music Composition and Music Technology, and the Director of the Winthrop Computer Music Labs at Winthrop University, Ronald Keith; and Composer, performer, and former Director of Music Theory, Music History, and Composition at CPCC, Craig Bove all debuting world premieres written for the Bechtler Ensemble and supported by the Bechtler Museum of Modern Art.

Each performance will be inspired by the exhibition Sol LeWitt: All Ideas Are Art.
