"Modernism at Risk" Panel Discussion

Bechtler Museum of Modern Art President and CEO John Boyer is a featured panelist for Historic Charlotte’s Modernism at Risk panel discussion April 19 in the Wells Fargo Auditorium (lower level of the Knight Theater). The panel is one of three events celebrating 2011 Historic Charlotte Preservation Month. The discussion will be followed by a reception in the Bechtler lobby. The event is free and open to the public but registration is required.

Moderator Diane Althouse, Executive Director of Historic Charlotte, will lead panelists in a discussion about the challenges and solutions to the preservation of modern architecture, and the fate of Charlotte's mid-century architectural resources.
