LOCATION: KNIGHT THEATER

MARCH 25

Photos of the Bechtler’s Firebird sculpture taken by members of the community for a Charlotte Observer reader contest will be featured during the Charlotte Symphony’s KnightSounds concert, Light My Fire, March 25 at the Knight Theater (located behind the museum).

The concert begins at 7:30 p.m. and will culminate in selections from Stravinsky's Firebird Suite along with an original film by George Cochran featuring the Firebird sculpture, created by Niki de Saint Phalle. After the performance, concertgoers are invited to tour the Bechtler’s galleries until 9:30 p.m. to view the new exhibition Niki de Saint Phalle: Creation of a New Mythology, which opens March 18.
