Jazz at the Bechtler

The Ziad Jazz Quartet, featuring vocalist Toni Tupponce and pianist/vocalist Noel Freidline, performs Parisian-themed standards and cabaret songs from the 1950s. Experience music immortalized by legends Edith Piaf, Michel Legrand and Django Reinhardt including La Vie En RoseLes Feuilles Mortes (Autumn Leaves), Sous Le Ciel de Paris (Under the Paris Skies), April in Paris and Les Moulins de Mon Coeur (Windmills of Your Mind).

This musical event complements the Bechtler’s School of Paris exhibition which presents artworks created in the French capital during the mid-20th century. On view now through January 3, 2011.

Jazz at the Bechtler is performed from 6 to 8 p.m. and is free with museum admission. Cash bar.
