Family Day

Family Day

LOCATION: THROUGHOUT MUSEUM

NOVEMBER 10

Explore the art and artists in the Bechtler collection with your children through special art activities and family-focused museum tours during Family Day Saturday, November 10 from noon to 4:30 p.m. Drop in anytime during the afternoon.

Art activities will illustrate the methods and materials addressed by artists Pablo Picasso, Paul Klee and Alexander Calder. Children ages 5 and older can create wire-frame portraits, oil pastel drawings and Picasso-inspired Cubist “funny face” portraits. Interact with art in the collection by participating in a museum-wide scavenger hunt and family-focused tour.

Admission to Family Day is free for children under 18 years old; all others receive a discounted ticket price of $4. Museum members are free.

On Family Day, all children's merchandise in the museum store is discounted 10%. Chose from a wonderful selection of children's art books and  contemporary toys.
